While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. View NotesThis is a matrix, done by hansokolow in ProTools, of the following sources: SBD: shnid=5227 source: sbd > ? > cdr > eac > shn Fix of shnid 5227: The overlap between CDs 2 and 3 was deleted to make the transition seamless. The SHNs were converted to FLAC and shntool was used to clean up SBEs. Unfortunately archive does not have an AUD that I could use to take care of some of the problems listed below; if you have it, maybe you'd like to take a shot at it. The original fileset included a declicked version of d2t02, as well as the original, so I'm leaving both in. Pick yer poison. notes: cut/splice in BTW @2:32 and again @4:11 2 drops or cuts in Blow Away @4:27 and 4:28 BTW hung up in EAC - there was a sync error and it took over 6hrs to get this track. I'm sure it ain't exactly perfect. There was a bunch of clicks in Estimated from 3:45 to 3:56, I used Cool Edit Pro to remove them. Hence the 2 versions of d2t2. Detection thresholds 13, 12, 10; rejection 11, 10, 8. shns are from an EAC (secure mode) of audio discs received from Andrew Wigdahl ----------------------------------- AUD: shnid=83791 Sennheiser 4xx's > Marantz PMDxxx > MC. Playback of MCs recording deck (Marantz PMDxxx) > Sony D6 > Maxell XL90s (1st gen). 1st (gen) > Playback on Marantz PRD505 (azimuth adjusted) > Marantz Intergrated Stereo Amp MP-68 > SB Audigy4 on new P4 machine > Sound Forge normalization > WAV > CDWave > WAVs > Flacfrontend 1.7.1 (level 8) > flacs. Recorded by Jeff Hubbard. Transfered Charles Bandrofcheck ----------------------------------- My Notes: The SBD sounds great, but does have the clicks mentioned, especially in Black Throated Wind. I cleaned it up a little more, but there will be clicks here and there. View Notes- patch info: Source # 132660 (kevtobin mtx) supplies s2t02 - 2:12 - 2:18, 2:24 - 2:27 notes: - Miss potty mouth took offense to these intrepid tapers recording FOB, she has been removed. - A fine run to start things off for Spring 1990 aka the Mike Hunt Tour. - Blow Away, Brent tries to get some set play earlier, but to no avail. When he does, this pass at Blow Away goes off the rails. Perhaps why this tour was so good, the boys could still recover. I encourage one & all to dig into this rendition, the reward at the end is a pot Grateful Gold. - Set II the boys earn their paycheck - The calypso driven jam before Drums briefly entertains Eyes of the World.

View Notes* first since 10-19-74(981shows) % minor clipping , levels are higher on first set after the tape was flipped. ^ drop during space, a few seconds are missing. (1) First flip after Loser. (2) Second flip during Drums. (3) third flip after Sugar Magnolia, encore recorded after first set on side B. 1st set has some minor dragging issues from being played a lot. 2nd set does not 2nd set was lost in California on summer 90 tour. 1st gen was supplied by my sister which I made soon after the show and was kept in mint condition.
